the project : Atelier Mobleu.
The project was to open an ephemeral second-hand & vintage clothing boutique in the center of Porto for one year. I undertook all the necessary steps to open this project from A to Z, first on my own and then with partners.
I started with the search for premises and then went on to design the interior architecture, branding and merchandising for the boutique. Atelier Mobleu (as a clothing boutique) was open from December 27, 2021 until JULLY 15, 2023. Thereafter, my partners took over to develop their own concept.

DURING THESE yearS, I upcycled my unsold items into unique pieces using the design methods I'd learned during my years at school. RENTING CLOTHING IS ONE OF THE MOST CIRCULAR AND SUSTAINABLE WAYS TO GET DRESSED.
If you are organising a project of any kind and you need our items just for one time, this is your option :
Photoshooting
you are creating a personal or artist's portfolio or you are putting together a commercial shoot.
ARTISTIC PERFORMANCE
you want to look unique on that one special occasion or you are a performer and need some special outfit for your live act or you are filming a music/cinematic video.
Please note : Lost or damaged items will be assessed with the total value of the items. our Items may not be altered to fit and must be returned in their original condition.
Items may NOT be cut, dyed, painted or altered without written permission from our side. Tape, iron-on bonding-web, glue or any other type of adhesives may NOT be used on items.

Our rental fee is 30€ per item and per day. You can rent as many days as you want, as many items as you need.
If this is the first time you rent from us, a cash deposit will be required.
In any case, talk to us to receive our rental contract with all conditions and prices, you can also let us know about your budget. We are happy to collaborate with artists and performers. We are open to talk and work on a payment that is viable for you and fair to us.Prices apply to all items, including bags and other accessoires.

The items must be well packed and sent back directly after they have been used. Shipping costs are not included in the renting prices.
All pieces must be returned in the same condition they were delivered: clean and free of stains and body odour. All returns will be assessed and an additional cleaning fee will be charged if required.
